Got this myself on my phone, and also it simply declined to upgrade. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this appears to be a concern that Facebook know. It's a concern with the Facebook application, and also not a generalised Play Shop issue.

This is what benefited me at least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage space, Clear all information and Clear cache


It does not injured if you restart your phone prior to you try updating facebook once more. As well as, the mount was SLOW. Just at the very least 4-5 minutes. However, it did job. If not attempt to uninstall it, or simply wait for a repair.
