Turn Off Location Facebook | 2019

Facebook goes to it once again, releasing yet another function that I never had the possibility to politely pull out of: area sharing.

When Facebook decided to withdraw efforts from its temporary check-in solution, Places, it quickly executed an extra passive location-sharing attribute that doesn't also have a name. It's simply there. And it's scary.

Currently, every time you compose a post on a mobile phone or desktop computer, you'll see a light-gray place description in the reduced left of the status box.

Facebook sneakily orders your place using GENERAL PRACTITIONER or Wi-Fi router, and also attaches it to your post, so your close friends can appreciate a much more extensive stalking experience.
