Got this myself on my phone, as well as it just rejected to update. Below's what worked for me.

Edit: this appears to be an issue that Facebook understand. It's a concern with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Store concern.

This is what worked for me at least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage room, Clear all information as well as Clear cache


It doesn't hurt if you reboot your phone before you try upgrading facebook again. And also, the mount was SLOW. Simply at the very least 4-5 mins. But, it did job. If not attempt to uninstall it, or just wait for a fix.
